Salicylic acid can quickly start to clear up acne, especially with a few extra tips. However, the best results take time and patience. Your skin didn’t get like this overnight, so give any products you are using time to work. Which means it takes 6-8 weeks for your facial skin to fully turn over and start fresh, with no signs of acne or acne scars.
First Things First
A regular morning routine is key in the fight against acne. Start with a gentle cleanser (like our pH-balanced Rose Cleanser!) which will wash away overnight treatments and any oil or bacteria. After cleansing, follow with our Salicylic Acid 2% Daily Treatment. You’ll be amazed as you leave it on for a few minutes as you can actually watch your pores get lighter and tighter – it’s awesome. After 1-3 minutes, rinse face with cool water.
Many people who suffer from acne skip a moisturizer, which would be a mistake – skin that is too dry will only amp up oil production – leaving skin oilier than before! Our Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer is a good choice, since it is light and hydrating, and won’t make your face look oily.
Minimize the amount of makeup you use daily, if you can stand it, or take breaks on the weekends – allowing skin to “breathe”. Putting foundation and cover-up on acne-prone skin only leads to more breakouts. Even a day off here and there can really speed up recovery.
Fight Acne While You Sleep…
So make sure to wash it all off in the evening! At night your skin kicks into repair overdrive, and it’s key to have really clean skin so that any treatments you use (anti-aging or acne creams, etc) can actually penetrate skin and do their work.
With every use, the Salicylic 2% Daily Peel will start to clear pores, killing bacteria and regulating oil production, and new skin turnover will speed up. It’s also good for fading acne scars and smoothing skin tone and complexion. We recommend using our Salicylic Acid Peel after cleansing, and (in the evening only) following with the Fruit Acid Gel Peel. Using the Fruit Acid Peel 2-3 times per week will also prevent acne from forming, as well as fade old acne marks. You’ll love how smooth and soft your skin feels after, and waking up to an improving complexion in the morning!
Tip: For ONLY the Salicylic peel, you can use it as a spot treatment and leave it overnight on any acne spots, which should then improve noticeably. (NOTE: not on the whole face, and not any of the other peels, since those MUST be neutralized with water)

Prevention trumps treatment. If you get really bad acne you should go get a facial 1-2 times a month, instead of getting permanent scars. If you already have scars, chemical peels.

Can u tell me how to use this cuz I have one do I need to wash it off or leave it on the face

If you have oily skin you can leave the Salicylic acid 2% peel on. For more sensitive skin types, you’d want to wash it off with cool water.
